Growing Sceletium seeds:
To grow Sceletium seeds is actually very easy and it contains germination inhibitors. (a common defense for many plant species because it causes staggered germination and has various survival benefits in the wild). We use lukewarm water as the inhibitor is soluble in water.

Step 1 should be to remove it by either soaking it in lukewarm water for a few days. Make sure that you change the water daily, and/or rinse it thoroughly. The seeds may start to germinate during this process.

We prefer to use bottled (spring or mineral) water, which is better than tap water. Once soaking is done, use organic soil for germination and keep the temperature about 60-65 degrees Fahrenheit. Seeds will do better when placed close to fluorescent lights. Typical germination time is anywhere from two weeks to two months.
